A pricing page was quoting a monthly figure for an upgrade that is not built. We removed the card and the call to action, and considered it closed.
It was not closed. The same figure was still live in llms-full.txt, in a JSON-LD offers
block that told search engines there was a purchasable offer, and in about ten blog posts, four
of which carried it inside FAQ structured data.
All of those render in no browser. None appears in a screenshot review. Their audience is precisely the machines that repeat the claim, which makes them worse places for a false statement to survive than the page we had actually looked at.
When you withdraw a published claim, grep the generated surfaces - llms.txt, structured data,
frontmatter schema blocks, social card routes, sitemaps - and assert against built output rather
than source. The visible page is the one place you will remember to check.
